Mr. Yutaka Sunohara is elected as a new president of PIANC-Japan On the occasion of a general assembly of PIANC-Japan held on the 21st June 2011, Mr. Y Sunohara who is a former director general of Port and Harbour Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and a former chief delegate of PIANC from Japanese Government as well was elected as a new president of PIANC-Japan replacing Mr. Y. Kawashima who still maintains a position of the vice-president of PIANC.
